Tagboard is a software platform that uses the hashtag to aggregate several social media platforms in a visual format. Tagboard searches through Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and App.net for a specific hashtag and presents the results in a dynamic board.
Once a specific keyword has been searched, the content from all of the social media platforms can be viewed, or filtered by source. Results are interactive. Tweets can be replied to, retweeted or favourited. Instagram and Facebook results can be “liked” or commented upon. Not only can different hashtags be searched and the results viewed, but users can also create their own Tagboard. Users create a title for their new board, a description of what the board represents, a link for it, as well as an image. Tagboard can be used to monitor a social media presence. |
