Paper By FiftyThree, free for iPhone and iPad, is a simple note-taking and drawing app. Paper lets users capture text notes, sketch drawings, construct diagrams, and annotate photos and screenshots.
Paper By FiftyThree’s swipe-to-style formatting lets users create sketchnotes quickly. A stylus is optional, but highly recommended. The app works even better on the iPad Pro with an Apple Pencil. Text, photos, and sketches can be combined to keep ideas organized and in one place. Paper By FiftyThree can be more than a note-taking tool. It can be a drawing tool for users who like sketching. The core function of Paper is to provide an alternative means of taking notes, complete with full sketch capabilities and the power to draw on top of photos. Paper’s tools comprise a simple mix of a blending colour palette, pencils, pens, highlighters and a watercolour paintbrush, as well as a cut-paste tool, a blur tool, a ‘smart shapes’ tool to enable users to draw quick diagrams and a highlight tool to draw focus to specific areas of photos. The “spaces” are stacks of cards comprising text, scribbles, artwork, photos and combinations of all the above, that expand out into re-arrangeable grids when touched. Swipe down, and everything shuffles back into the pile. Paper By FiftyThree lets users share their ideas. By default spaces are private, but they can also be shared as pictures, PDFs, Keynote, and PowerPoint presentations. Users can also browse through Mix, FiftyThree’s social network of editable drawings, remix or add to images and re-upload them or just keep them as private documents. Paper By FiftyThree’s unique visual notes are designed to help you get your point across quickly and precisely. |
