LENS Administrator's Award
Previous Recipients
1. QualificationsNominee must have made a significant contribution to the growth, support and development of school-based literacy in Saskatchewan through active participation or innovative ideas and / or directive organization in an administrative role.
2. NominationsNominations will be received until January 15. Two nominators must be current LENS members and the nomination must be supported by the local reading council. A concise written presentation about the nominee will accompany the nomination form. Nominations will be brought before the provincial executive at the January meeting and be voted on only by the provincial executive board. A nomination form will be available on the LENS website. Forms are also available by contacting a Local Council President or an Executive Member of LENS. All those nominated will receive recognition of their nomination.
3. Presentation of AwardThe recipient of the Administrator’s Award will be awarded a plaque at the annual LENS conference. They will also receive a free conference registration and LENS membership.
4. Follow-UpThe name of the recipient, a picture and a short biography will be published in the Bulletin and the LENS website.
5. General ConsiderationsThe entire management and presentation of the award will be the responsibility of the president. The Award recipient will be notified by the President of LENS. There is no obligation to present the award each year.
