Bounce is an application which lets users make annotated screen captures of websites and also instantly share those screen captures with others. Users can add feedback to any webpage and share back and forth with peers, grab a screenshot from any URL (or image file), add some notes, and bounce it around with a unique URL. Peers can add some feedback and bounce it back.
To use the Bounce app, visit the web site, type in the URL of a website, and click “Bounce.” Bounce will then create an image of that website on which users can draw and annotate boxes. Limitless boxes and notes can be created. When finished, Bounce will provide a unique URL for the screen captures that can be shared with others. An optional Bounce account can be created which allows Bounce users to annotate the same screen capture.
Bounce could be a good tool for sharing comments about design elements of websites, highlighting graphics on a site, or sharing comments about articles with students or colleagues (Richard Byrne).
