AnswerGarden is a feedback tool which can be used in the classroom for reflection, as a creative brainstorming tool, or embedded in a website or blog for use as a poll or guestbook. To create an AnswerGarden, enter a topic on the Create New AnswerGarden page. Since no one has posted an answer yet, the AnswerGarden will still be empty. The next step is to share your AnswerGarden. It can be used live in the classroom, at a meeting or a conference. Alternatively, it can be embedded on a blog, site or social network page, using the provided embed code, or emailed with a direct link to your AnswerGarden. Visitors will post their answers to the questions, either by entering their own answers or by clicking on and submitting existing answers. The responses are represented in your AnswerGarden in the form of a growing word cloud. If you want you can provide a password for your garden so that you can edit it later. Users can also specify whether you want to turn on the Unlimited Answering option. Now that your AnswerGarden is created and ready for use , click on “save”. AnswerGarden is a powerful way to obtain feedback, to establish students’ existing knowledge level of a certain topic, conduct digital brainstorming sessions, or poll visitors on a website or blog. |
